Metropolitan Police Department detectives made an arrest in connection to a homicide that occurred on Sept. 22, on the 3000 block of Adams Street, NE.
According to a press release, at about 12:41 pm, officers located 57-year-old Bacilio Villatoro suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
On Dec. 23, 21-year-old Jamari Payne was arrested and charged with second-degree murder while armed.
