The Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Homicide Branch arrested and charged a 14-year-old juvenile male with felony murder while armed for his alleged involvement in a homicide that occurred on July 13 on the 2200 block of 6th Street, NW.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the area after reports of a shooting and located an adult male shooting victim. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries after all life-saving efforts were attempted.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Rafael Adolfo Gomez.
