Metropolitan Police Department detectives made an arrest in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred on March 22, on the 2400 block of Elvans Road, SE.

According to a press release, at about 9:43 am, officers located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

On Dec. 21, 29-year-old Marvin Smith was arrested and charged with aggravated assault while armed.
