The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested a suspect for an assault with a dangerous weapon that occurred on the 1600 block of K Street, NW on Nov. 14.
At approximately 5:40 p.m., the suspect discharged a commercial grade firework at several victims.
The suspect, a 26-year-old resident of Northeast DC, fled the scene but was apprehended by responding MPD officers.
