On Nov. 24, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) made an arrest in a burglary offense that occurred on Nov. 24.
At around 11:09 p.m., the suspect broke into a residence on the 2200 block of 14 Street, NW and attempted to steal property before being apprehended by responding officers.
A 26-year-old was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
