Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives have made an arrest in relation to a homicide.
At about 9:55 p.m. on April 15 police responded to the 3300 block of 10th Place, SE, due to a report of a shooting. Police found 29-year-old Kerry Odoms with gunshot wounds. They were later pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to the press release.
On July 24, police arrested 21-year-old Malachi McFarland and charged him with first-degree murder while armed, according to the press release.
