The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on June 30 on the 1200 block of 7th Street, NW. An adult male was found unconscious with a gunshot wound and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Additionally, an adult female and a juvenile male were injured but survived. The deceased victim’s identity is pending notification of next of kin.
