Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Jan. 10.

At approximately 8:52 p.m., officers responded to the scene for the sound of gunshots, according to a press release. They found 33-year-old Jerrame Watts seated in a vehicle at 13^th and Irving Street NW, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
