Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are investigating a homicide that happened on April 4.

At around 9:45 p.m. that day, officers responded to the 4300 block of Wheeler Road, SE for the report of a shooting.

There, they found 22 year-old Juwan McCrae suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
