The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in investigating a homicide that occurred on July 30 on the 100 block of Farragut Street, NW.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the area on the report of a shooting and located an adult male shooting victim. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead after all life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.
The victim was identified as 46-year-old Donald B. Childs.
