The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on June 28 on the 1900 block of 16th Street, SE.
According to MPD documents, officers responded after hearing gunshots and located an adult male victim. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The decedent was identified as 19-year-old Nijae Boddie.
