The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in investigating a homicide that occurred on August 1 on the 3100 block of 16th Street, NW.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the scene after reports of a shooting and located an adult male shooting victim. The victim succumbed to his injuries in a nearby hospital.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Diallo Wright.
