The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Homicide Branch is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on June 28 on the 700 block of 19th Street, NE.
According to MPD documents, officers responded for the report of a shooting and located an adult female victim suffering from gunshot wounds and with no signs consistent with life.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
