Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are investigating a homicide that happened on the morning of Nov. 6.
At around 10:44 a.m., officers responded to the the 1700 block of Gales Street, NE for the report of a shooting.
There, they found 41 year-old Demetrius Jones suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at a local hospital.
