Metropolitan Police Department detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred on Dec. 17, on the 1700 block of Euclid Street, NW.
According to a press release, at about 10:07 pm, officers responded to the location for the reports of a person struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located 18-year-old Derron McQueen suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at a scene.
