Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are investigating a homicide that happened on March 20.
At around 7:56 p.m., officers responded to the report of a walk-in shooting victim. Deonte Minor, a 23 year-old Virginia resident, was suffering from gunshot wounds. He eventually died from his injuries.
Investigation revealed that the homicide happened on the 1200 block of Southern Avenue, SE.
