The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the afternoon on April 29.
According to a press release, police found 35-year-old Louis Kingsbury suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the 200 block of New York Avenue, NW. He died on the scene.
The department is offering up to a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case or any other homicide case in Washington, DC. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099. Anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.
