The Metropolitan Police Department announced a June 7 homicide.
At approximately 11:30 a.m. officers responded to the 3600 block of Brothers Place, SE, due to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located 60-year-old Orlando Murphy with stab wounds. He died from his injuries, according to the press release.
