The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of 53-year-old, John Scoggins, who was allegedly involved in a stabbing incident on Dec. 9 on the 1700 block of Minnesota Avenue, SE. The victim, an adult male, was found with multiple stab wounds and transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Scoggins has been charged with Assault with Intent to Kill.
