The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrests of three juvenile males in connection with a carjacking incident that occurred on Nov. 18 in Northwest D.C. The suspects, aged 14, 15, and 17, allegedly brandished a firearm and demanded the victim's car keys on the 1200 block of Rhode Island Avenue NW. The 17-year-old is also charged with an unarmed carjacking from Oct. 2 on Harvard Street NW. The victim's vehicle has been recovered, and the investigation is ongoing.
