The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the investigation into the death of 30-year-old Alexander Nikolenko, a cyclist who succumbed to injuries from a crash on Nov 12 at the intersection of Queens Chapel Road and Channing Street, Northeast. Nikolenko, who was not wearing a helmet, lost control of his bicycle while trying to avoid a black Nissan Armada and was hospitalized before passing away on Jan 3.
