The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Jan. 13 in the 4500 block of Quarles Street, Northeast. The victim, identified as 27-year-old Landen Mayo of Southeast, DC, was found with gunshot wounds and later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
