The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Dec. 23, 2024 in the 2200 block of Q Street, Southeast. The victim, identified as 19-year-old Carmelo Green from District Heights, MD, was found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
