The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are investigating a fatal hit and run crash that occurred on Dec. 9 on the 2600 block of Southern Avenue in Southeast, DC. A Jeep Grand Cherokee, reported stolen, collided with a Honda Civic, resulting in the death of 36-year-old Omar Davis from Forrest Heights, MD. The driver of the Jeep fled the scene on foot.
