The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of 30-year-old Abdul Fields, of Southeast, DC, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on March 24, 2025, on the unit block of New York Avenue, NW. Fields allegedly discharged a firearm toward a moving vehicle, with no injuries reported. He has been charged with Endangerment with a Firearm, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun), and Possession of a Firearm During a Crime of Violence.
