The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of a 17-year-old juvenile female in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred on Sep. 30 on the 900 block of Bellevue Street, SE. The suspect allegedly attacked and shot at the victim before fleeing in the victim’s vehicle. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the assault and was treated at a local hospital.
