Non-Fatal Shooting

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of 28-year-old Deamonte Bridgeforth in connection with a domestic-related shooting on Jan 3 in Northeast, DC. The incident on the 1500 block of Harry Thomas Way resulted in five people being injured, including three who were transported by emergency services and two who self-transported to the hospital. Bridgeforth has been charged with three counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) following an altercation with one of the victims.
