Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are investigating a Nov. 15 homicide.

At approximately 6:05 a.m. officers responded to the 1900 block of 14^th Street, SE, due to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two adult men with gunshot wounds nearby. Both were transported to a local hospital where one, 68-year-old Nathaniel Martin, succumbed to his injuries, according to the press release.
