Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are asking for the public’s help with identifying and locating a person of interest in connection with a third-degree sexual abuse offense that happened on Aug. 12.
According to a press release, at about 3:00 p.m., a suspect approached the victim on the 4000 block of 9th Street, NW, engaged in unwanted sexual contact with the victim and then fled the scene.
A person of interest was captured by a surveillance camera.
