On May 28, detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children branch arrested two men who are suspected of the sex trafficking of children.

The suspects were arrested for different offenses that occurred on March 28 at separate times. According to the press releases, the suspects allegedly travelled to Washington, DC to engage in a commercial sex act with a child.

Both suspects are Maryland residents and were apprehended “upon arrival,” the release said. There is no indication that the offenses were connected.
