Document: Police Arrest 2 Suspects for Armed Carjacking

On May 9, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested to suspects for their connection to an armed carjacking that occurred on the 4600 block of Livingston Road, SE.

A 20-year-old suspect and a 16-year-old suspect were charged with armed carjacking with a gun. The 16-year-old is being charged as an adult.

According to a press release, the suspects allegedly pulled a gun on a victim and demanded their vehicle. The stolen vehicle was located a short time later and a handgun was recovered.

The case is still under investigation.
