Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers have arrested 60-year-old Linwood Earl Forte, of Northwest, DC, and charged him with second-degree burglary.
Forte allegedly forcibly gained entrance to a residence on the 800 block of Upshur Street, NW on July 5. He took property from the residence and then fled the scene.
The case remains under investigation by MPD.
