Document: Police Arrest Suspect for Assault with Knife

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested May 28 a suspect connected to an assault with a dangerous weapon offense that occurred around 8 p.m. that day on the 2700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.

According to the press release, the suspect and the victim were in a verbal argument when the suspect tried to stab the victim with a knife.

There were no injuries reported, and the suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
