Two suspects were arrested for assault with dangerous weapon offenses on June 5. Metropolitan Police Department officers arrested a 22-year-old male and a 17-year-old female juvenile in accordance with the offenses.
Both suspects were arrested by police following a physical confrontation on the 3600 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. The male suspect allegedly assaulted the victim with a bat, and the female juvenile allegedly utilized a knife in the altercation.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
