Document: REWARD FOR INFORMATION IN 7TH STREET HOMICIDE INCREASED

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced an increased reward for information regarding the homicide of 21-year-old Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, which occurred on June 30 on the 1200 block of 7th Street, NW. Tarpinian-Jachym, an intern for a U.S. House Representative, was fatally shot, while an adult female and a 16-year-old male survived. The investigation suggests multiple suspects fired at a group, with Tarpinian-Jachym not being the intended target. The reward, now totaling $40,000, is supported by the FBI Washington Field Office.
