The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has arrested a suspect in connection to multiple burglary and robbery offenses that occurred in early December.
On Dec. 2 at approximately 10:40 p.m., the suspect entered an establishment on the 400 block of 8th Street, SE and took property before fleeing the scene.
On Dec. 4, the suspect entered and took property from two establishments on the 400 block of 8th Street, SE and the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.
Finally, on Dec. 5, the suspect took property from an establishment on the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.
On Dec. 5, police arrested a 48 year-old from Northeast, DC and charged him with second-degree theft, robbery (fear) of an establishment and second-degree burglary of an establishment.
