Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives seek the public’s assistance identifying the suspect of a first-degree theft that happened on Sept. 21.
At around 4:45 p.m., a suspect approached the victim on the Unit block of N Street, NE as she unloaded her car. The victim placed the dog carrier down on the sidewalk. Then, the suspect took the dog carrier and fled the scene.
The puppy is a 12 week-old gold and black Yorkshire Terrier named Simba.
