The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced an update on the investigation of a fatal hit and run crash that occurred on Dec. 9 on the 2600 block of Southern Avenue in SE, DC. The incident involved a Jeep Grand Cherokee, reported stolen, colliding with a Honda Civic, resulting in the death of 36-year-old Omar Davis. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was captured on surveillance footage.
