Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred in the Douglass neighborhood of Southeast, DC.
At around 8:18 p.m. on Aug. 2, police responded to the 1800 block of Alabama Avenue, SE for a report of a shooting.
There, they found Troy Coleman, a 21-year-old resident of Southeast, DC, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was brought to an area hospital, but was ultimately pronounced dead.
