Metropolitan Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Dec. 21, on the 4600 block of South Capitol Street, SW.
According to a press release at about 4:23 pm, officers responded to a location for the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a shooting but no victim.
An adult male victim was located at a local hospital seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
