Hakeem Burroughs, 24, was arrested and charged with the alleged murder of Jarell Walker.
Police said Burroughs was arrested at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21 and charged with Walker’s death. Walker was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 3700 block of Hayes Street, NE. Walker was pronounced dead soon after he was transported to a nearby hospital and succumbed to his injuries.
Burroughs has been charged with second degree murder while armed.
