A DC Superior Court judge continued a May 10 hearing in a homicide case to allow time for plea negotiations and for an indictment to be filed.
Seth Andrews, 34, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his 67-year-old mother, Hazel Evans, on the unit block of 35th Street, SE, on July 16, 2020.
Judge Jonathan Pittman scheduled the next hearing for June 28.
