A DC Superior Court judge asked the Department of Corrections (DOC) to move an inmate to a different section of the DC Jail on May 15.
Kenneth Bloomfield is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
Judge Michael Ryan requested that the DOC move Bloomfield to the correctional treatment facility section of the jail. The specifics as to why were not disclosed.
On May 14, Bloomfield’s motion to be released due to coronavirus was denied by Judge Michael O’Keefe.
