A DC Superior Court judge continued a June 22 status hearing for a defendant charged in connection with a 2017 homicide.
Tavon Davis is charged with second-degree murder while armed and soliciting murder in the death of 29-year-old Michael Vest on the 1300 block of Trinidad Avenue, NE, on June 28, 2017.
The 26-year-old defendant is also charged with obstructing justice and threats to kidnap or injure a person.
Judge Milton Lee continued the status hearing to July 13.
