DC Superior Court Judge Neal Kravitz found probable cause May 28 that a suspect committed a felony kidnapping.
Andrew Jackson is charged with kidnapping while armed with a gun.
Jackson was not able to attend the hearing that was request by his lawyer. The reasons Jackson’s presence was waived is unknown. Judge Kravitz denied a motion to continue the hearing and wait for Jackson to be able to attend.
A grand jury indictment as not been secured as of May 28.
Jackson is scheduled for another hearing on Aug. 11.
