A DC judge ordered April 21 that a defendant should report to his probation officer after being released.
Robert Brown pleaded guilty to attempted burglary on Feb. 18.
Judge Danya Dayson granted Brown’s motion to be released due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dayson ordered that upon his release Brown go and see his probation officer from another case. D.C. Witness could not confirm the other case.
Brown was initially scheduled for sentencing on April 23 but due to the pandemic it has been rescheduled to July 9.
