Judge Orders Mental Exam

A defendant was ordered to undergo a mental exam on May 29.

Kenneth Phillips is charged with robbery for stealing a backpack from a man on July 21, 2019.

DC Superior Court Judge Juliet McKenna ordered that Phillips undergo a mental examination.

A mental observation hearing is scheduled for June 9.
