During an April 24 hearing, an assault defendant was ordered to be released.
Damion Thomas pleaded guilty to arson, threat to kidnap or injure a person and burglary two on Dec. 20, 2019.
DC Superior Court Judge Danya Dayson granted Thomas’ motion for release.
Thomas filed an emergency motion for release in March.
Thomas has a sentencing is slated for July 10.
