On Nov. 5, a DC Superior Court judge scheduled a hearing to determine if an assault case has enough evidence to go to trial.
Greg Burch is charged with assault with intent to kill while armed in connection with a shooting that happened Sept. 17 on the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, NE. According to witness accounts, the shooting took place over a stolen bicycle.
Judge Robert Okun scheduled Burch’s preliminary hearing for Dec. 15.
In the meantime, Burch, 36, will remain in the DC Jail, where he has been held since he was arrested on Oct. 14.
