Police arrested Lamar Young on Monday for murder in the stabbing death of Bobby Ellis in August.
Young, who had been identified by police as a suspect earlier this month, was arrested and charged with second degree murder while armed.
According to police, Ellis, of Southeast, was found with stab wounds on the 4800 block of Meade Street, NE, on August 23. Ellis was taken to a hospital and died.
Young was due to be presented in Superior Court Tuesday afternoon.
